• Day 1 - Anchorage to Denali Park Entrance:

    Take the morning motorcoach from Anchorage to Denali Cabins, a unique property nestled in the boreal forest just south of the Denali National Park entrance. The drive north is a scenic adventure through the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, Alaska's agricultural center, up to Broad Pass in the Alaska Range and Denali National Park. You'll cross sparkling salmon streams, and meander through birch forests. If the weather is clear, you'll have spectacular southern views of Mt. McKinley and other dramatic Alaska landscapes. Check in at Denali Cabins. There are 46 cozy cedar cabins with private baths, televisions, telephones, and contemporary furnishings as well as the charm of an authentic Alaskan cabin. Take advantage of free time in the afternoon to explore the area: Take a free shuttle to the Denali Park Visitor Information Center and the McKinley Village, or enjoy one of many other optional activities, like flightseeing, rafting, a jet boat safari, or a glacier-landing tour.     Day 2 - Denali Backcountry Adventure (L):

    After an optional early-morning Deluxe Continental Breakfast, board the bus for the Denali Backcountry Adventure, the most-extensive day trip into Denali National Park. Witness stunning landscapes while your driver/guide provides an interesting and informative narration and helps you search for bears, moose, caribou, Dall sheep, wolves, foxes, golden eagles, and more.

    Arrive at our exclusive Denali Backcountry Lodge in time for a hearty buffet lunch, and enjoy an afternoon activity, perhaps gold panning or a nature walk. Board the bus for the return journey and a second chance to view the magnificent scenery and spot animals. The weather, wildlife, and changing light assure it's never the same trip twice.

    Day 3 - Denali Park Entrance to Anchorage:

    After optional breakfast, enjoy another optional activity during free time in the morning. You will depart for Anchorage by motorcoach in the afternoon. Return to Anchorage through Broad Pass, interior forests, and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley to conclude your Denali Backcountry Express vacation package. Connect with your flight home, or continue on your next Alaska adventure.
